Frequently asked questions

👀 How does Yelmair find deals?

We do daily manual searches and use robots to find deals.

💳 Why do I have to pay to see all deals?

Because it's valuable information, obtained through experience and good ol' hard work. It takes time and resources to build and maintain a site like this. Also, with a subscription you support an indie maker and future features, without ads.

🔑 How do I log in?

Go to the login page, enter your email address and receive a login link. No password needed.

💎 How is this site different from ticket deal blogs?

We try to organize deals more structured, in order to easily compare, filter and search. We show more deals. We don't show ads. We try to be as complete as possible. We try to be fast.

😡 Can't I just find these deals myself?

Yes you can. But it takes time, dedication, experience and hard work.

😖 Why has the ticket price gone up?

This happens from time to time. Ticket deals are so-called 'buckets' of prices. They're available in a certain period, distributed over several flights. When the cheap tickets are gone, they're gone. On the other side: if the promotion period ends and the tickets aren't sold, there's a good chance the ticket deals stays available.

🤔 How do you define a deal?

We use historical prices and variations in price to define which prices are significantly lower than what would be corcerned 'normal', 'average' or 'median'.

Normally routes with high competition amongst airlines have lower prices.

😤 Why don't you show deals with low cost airlines?

We do, actually. But scarcely. We however think low cost airlines are pushing air travel in the wrong direction, with agitated and anxious travelers and airline employees.

🤬 I found a much cheaper flight from XYZ to ABC!

Noice! Please share it with us since we're unable to always show every ticket deal available at any time.

🏃🏽‍♀️ Do I need to book these tickets quickly?

The faster the better. Although, if you're flexible in your travel dates, you don't have to stress. Every deal shows a expiration date. This date is found in ticket conditions and defines the end of the sale period. Although it's possible prices stay available, it's better to make quick decisions. If there's a good price available in your preferred travel period, book it!

😤 Your site shows a different price from the one I find on the site where I am redirected to!

It's very hard to keep track of exact prices all the time. We do manually checks on prices every few days. We delete deals once they're gone or prices differ more than 10% of the original found price.
