We use historical prices and variations in price to define which prices are significantly lower than what would be corcerned 'normal', 'average' or 'median'. With an account you can check all historical prices for every route on Yelmair.
Normally routes with high competition amongst airlines have lower prices. Yelmair gives priority for finding deals on routes with more alerts set by users. If you set alerts in your account, we try to find more and better deals.
We do, actually. But scarcely. We however think low cost airlines are pushing air travel in the wrong direction, with agitated and anxious travelers and airline employees. We try to mix in some low cost airline deals (as you can see) but prefer to post deals with the so-called full-service airlines.
The faster the better. Although, if you're flexible in your travel dates, you don't have to stress. Every deal shows a expiration date. This date is found in ticket conditions and defines the end of the sale period. Although it's possible prices stay available, it's better to make quick decisions. If there's a good price available in your preferred travel period, book it!
It's difficult to say, but we post ticket deals with prices around 50% of the average price for a route. When traveling with two people, twice a year (one shorter and one intercontinental trip) you can save over €500/$500. Please read this blog post to get a better understanding.
It's simple. Yelmair is a website where links to cheap tickets are posted. We search the web daily for good prices on multiple routes. With an account you can set alerts for routes, and receive emails once new deals are posted.
Flights are sold for different prices throughout the year. We define a ticket deal when it's not more than 50% of the average price for a route.
